A bulletin released on Tuesday (23rd Nov 2021) evening from Indian Government on Cryptocurrency states that “allow for certain exceptions to promote the underlying technology of cryptocurrency and its uses”.

India Ban Cryptocurrency?
There are millions of people in India who have invested in Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, etc. Once the news was aired, there was a huge fall in all cryptocurrencies, this news could be one of the reason! However, there are still no clear indications whether Indian Government will ban all private cryptocurrecy in India.
The Indian Governement is all set to introduce a bill to ban private cryptocurrencies and create a framework for an official digital currency to be issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) during the government parliament’s winter session starting November 29th 2021.
From past couple of months the Indian Government was working towards its own Indian Digital Currency and may introduce the same in coming months. This can either boost other digital currency or can also impact on the growth of Bitcoin which is currently the leader in cryptocurrencies.
Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi chaired a meeting in the past to discuss the future of digital cryptocurrencies, he however highlighted that the cryptocurrency should not fall in wrong hands. He also said that the income tax law may see changes for cryptocurrency, this means the Indian Government is showing keen interest in Cryptocurrencies and may not ban it in coming future.
So, what should we conclude from this? We will have to wait and watch, on November 29th 2021, the Indian Government will pass the bill on Cryptocurrency. Therefore, on this day it will be cleared whether there is a good future of cryptocurrency in India or India will 100% ban cryptocurrency!
In terms of crypto owners, India is on 5th position in the world when it comes to crypto owners as a percentage of the total population. There are nearly 7-8% of people in India’s (110 million people) population who owns crypto currency, Bitcoin cryptocurrency leads the race. Therefore, a ban in India will be a major setback to all cryptocurrencies across the globe which can lead to market crash.
As per the past history and events, I don’t think Indian Government will ban Cryptocurrency, but yes definitely it will post some protocols or some restrictions on cryptocurrency transaction which I don’t think will impact the growth of cryptocurrency. Moreover, if there is a new digital cryptocurrency which India is introducing by the end of the year, this will certainly boost other digital currency.

भारतीय सरकार 29 नवंबर 2021 से शुरू होने वाले सरकारी संसद के शीतकालीन सत्र के दौरान निजी क्रिप्टोकरेंसी पर प्रतिबंध लगाने और भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) द्वारा जारी की जाने वाली आधिकारिक डिजिटल मुद्रा के लिए एक ढांचा तैयार करने के लिए एक विधेयक पेश करने के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है।
पिछले कुछ महीनों से भारत सरकार अपनी भारतीय डिजिटल मुद्रा की दिशा में काम कर रही थी और आने वाले महीनों में इसे पेश कर सकती है। यह या तो अन्य डिजिटल मुद्रा को बढ़ावा दे सकता है या बिटकॉइन के विकास पर भी प्रभाव डाल सकता है जो वर्तमान में क्रिप्टोकरेंसी में अग्रणी है।
भारत के प्रधान मंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने डिजिटल क्रिप्टोकरेंसी के भविष्य पर चर्चा करने के लिए अतीत में एक बैठक की अध्यक्षता की, हालांकि उन्होंने इस बात पर प्रकाश डाला कि क्रिप्टोकरेंसी गलत हाथों में नहीं पड़नी चाहिए। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि आयकर कानून में क्रिप्टोकरेंसी के लिए बदलाव देखने को मिल सकते हैं, इसका मतलब है कि भारत सरकार क्रिप्टोकरेंसी में गहरी दिलचस्पी दिखा रही है और आने वाले भविष्य में इसे प्रतिबंधित नहीं कर सकती है।
तो, हमें इससे क्या निष्कर्ष निकालना चाहिए? हमें इंतजार करना होगा और देखना होगा, 29 नवंबर 2021 को भारत सरकार क्रिप्टोकुरेंसी पर बिल पारित करेगी। इसलिए, इस दिन यह साफ हो जाएगा कि भारत में क्रिप्टोकरेंसी का अच्छा भविष्य है या भारत 100% क्रिप्टोकरेंसी पर प्रतिबंध लगाएगा!
