Individuals who have started blogging or have taken blogging as their career have one question in their mind. When will I earn thousands of dollar from my blogs? When can I get my first Google Adsense payment?
Most of them have to wait for months and even years to get their first adsense payment. Some bloggers gets so frustrated that they eventually leave blogging and they look for some other carrier options. More than 95% blogger earn their first $100 after 6 months, there are only few exceptional blogger who will hit that mark in a weeks or in couple of months time.
There are some bloggers who have written more than 100-150 articles, but they are still struggling to reach the minimum payout of adsense and some reach even after writing just 20-30 blogs.
The first and foremost thing is to check the content and niche of bloggers who are earning daily few dollars. Check what kind of article they are writing. Prepare a list of few ten or fifteen bloggers, subscribe to their blogs, follow them and keep monitoring them.
Below are also some factors which one should compare with professional bloggers who are earning daily.
- Check the theme what these professional bloggers are using. Normally, highly paid bloggers uses themes which are not heavy as it makes the site too slow to open.
- Ensure your blog website has a good UX score. There are different tools and websites on internet to check the ux score of your blog website, these websites also provides recommendation on how to improve the UX score.
- The spam score of your website should be low. Same like UX score, you can also check your blog site spam score. Some of the free sites which you can user to check the spam score are IPQuality Score, Linkody and SEOMetrics checker.
- Wisely use the plugins. Do a detail analysis of each plugin, which plugins are useful for your site. Inactive plugin or plugins which are installed but not in use should be uninstalled.
- Post twice in a week or at least once in a week. Professional bloggers who are earning $100 per day have consistency, they write 3-4 articles every week. Some even write more than one article every day!
- Use of proper SEO. The best and Free SEO is Yoast, you can also go for a paid one.
- Review old posts and add some more data in these old posts. Make a habit of reviewing your old posts at least once in six months.
- Compare Google Analytics report. Create a schedule for a weekly google analytics report, check which blogs are working and getting visited by customers and which are not. Find out from which country you are getting the maximum traffic. Also, check which keywords are attracting more traffic.
- Review your publisher ads, more than 80% of blogger uses google adsense, there are other ads publishers, I have already written a blog on Google Adsense Alternatives. Check if there are too many ads on your blog website, too many ads on your website can make it messy. Also, do check the ads placement of each blogs.
- Ensure your website is mobile friendly as more and more people are accessing internet from their phone.
Even after all the above checks, if you think you cannot generate a good income from blogs. Then mix Affiliate marketing material or data in your blogs. Professional bloggers do not have a single source of income, they just can’t rely only on their content, they have to sell something on their blogs. Some are selling online courses, Amazon products, Digital products, ebooks, etc. Selling these products generate affiliate income which is much better than the blogging income.
If affiliate marketing on your blogs is also not working, then create Youtube videos and upload these videos in your blogging website. So in this way you have 2 source of income, one through youtube monetization and the other through blog monetization.
Subscribe to Youtube channel who give tips and training on how to grow your blog, how to make your blog viral and how to get more traffic on your blog. Please trust me, no one can teach you blogging! It is you who has to get trained, though you can get some kind of help and assistance from these youtube channel but it’s you who has to put efforts.
Please understand, Blogging is a profession which can take months and years to grow. At present, this is the best source of passive income. Don’t get de-motivated if you are not earning well through blogging, keep writing rich, legit and unique content and keep adding affiliate marketing products and youtube videos in your blogging website so that you not dependent only on blogging income. If you are earning $10 daily through you blogs, you can easily earn more than $50 from affiliate marketing and youtube videos.
So, the logic is simple! Use Blogs + Affiliate Marketing + Youtube Videos, these three will not only enhance your income, it will also increase the traffic on your website which will result in the overall earnings.
One thing which I missed out is the Hosting Platform, your blog earnings also depends on what type of web-hosting you are using. Go for Hostinger, I am not promoting this platform but the reviews and performance is good as compared to other hosting platform. I would also suggest to write and publish your article on WordPress. And lastly use keywords in each and every blog which you write and publish. Please ensure that each blog should have at least 3-4 low or medium keywords. This will help your blogs to index faster.
