Blogging is the best passive income and most of the readers who will read this blog or readers who have read my previous articles will agree. The most important point is, a person who is not even having a single penny can start his earning from blogging. There are many bloggers who are earning in millions and living a luxury life, some have chosen this as their main source of income, for some it is a part time job.
I started my blogging journey from year 2017, but I became serious only after 2 years as I sensed that blogging has a huge potential of growing and will continue to grow in coming years. But, whoever is thinking that earning from blogging is very easy or anyone can start making money from blogs from day one, it is a myth!
The fact is earning from blogs is a serious business; you need to devote time and your skills if you want to become a successful blogger.
Journey of my Blogging
Since, I have already updated that I started my blogging journey in year 2017, it took me several months to get the Google Adsense approval. Once, my blog website got the adsense approval, there was no looking back. I started with one blogging website and then ended up in making 3 blogging website with different niches.
For the first month, there was a little amount of traffic but there were no earnings. Next 2 months, the traffic increased but again no earnings. So, after 3 months of getting Adsense approval I used to get few hundreds of page views and impressions but no earning. I thought of moving out from this blogging business, but some of my friends, well-wishers and few of my relative requested to give another try.
I watched few videos on SEO, Google Ads, Social media marketing and email marketing, this helped me in getting a good traffic and then the day came. I could see $0.001 earnings in my adsense account, in few days it converted to $10 and then to $50 in next one month. This was year 2018, and I was able to make $100 a month easily. I feel that I was lucky in year 2019, as some of my articles went viral and in that month I generated an income of $450.
If you see the average, monthly I was earning $500 in year 2018, in 2019 it went up to $680, in year 2020 I crossed $1k and last year it was $3k per month. Thanks to the covid pandemic as this was the main reason in 2020 and 2021 why my earnings doubled, since most of the readers were sitting at home and reading my articles. My next target is to earn $5k-$10k by 2024, which I think it is achievable seeing the current trend.

How to Start? And how I started by blogging career?
If you have decided that you will start a blog and make your career in blogging, the first step is to decide the niche. Choose a niche which is evergreen and which has a huge demand in the future. Also check if you can write enough articles on this niche, a professional blogger writes 3-4 articles in a week which is equal to 20 blogs in a month. There are many professional blogger who are writing 50-100 posts in a month, but 20 blogs are fine if you are a beginner.

If you do now want to invest anything, start with a blogger platform. But, keep one point in your mind, people who have started from blogger took months and years to get Google Adsense approval and also it took them more than a year to reach the $100 mark.
If you want your blog to generate income once it is approved in Adsense, try WordPress platform. Almost all successful blogger have their blog website on wordpress. If you have selected wordpress, choose a quality and attractive domain name and hosting. Hostinger is one such website hosting platform which one can try as it is very cheap and a reliable hosting platform.
Plugins, SSL certificate and other marketing and adverting tools are some of the resources which you should try; this will cost you few dollars. Though SSL is mandatory, plugins and other advertising and marketing sources are optional and you can opt out.
Normally I write what I like; I write what I am in interested in. If you write what you love it, you can write thousands of articles, there is no limit!
What to do once you have written your blog
Once I am done writing my blog, I have prepared a list of websites on which I will post my blogs. The list includes some social media sites and other articles sites. Below are some of the websites on which I post every blog of mine,

There is one point which I have missed out, before publishing your blogs on these social media sites. Index your blogs in Google Search Console and Bing Webmasters so that your blogs gets a better ranking in Google.
How do I get more traffic and earning on blog?
Once I am done with the indexing and sharing the sites on social media sites, I create and publish Google web stories with the same blog data. Then I create story ad using free application called Canva and publish it is Youtube Shorts and in Instagram reels, again using the same blog data. Therefore there are three articles published with the same content, one is the blog, 2nd is the web stories and the 3rd is the video.
One can easily get a good amount of traffic and earning if you follow the right process and right approach. Email marketing is one such method to get more traffic. If you have your own email list, ensure you send a notification to them once in a week, there are many plugins which can automatically update to your subscribers that a new blog is written.

The blogging business is not stagnant; it is growing day by day. I am a live example; I started with $0 in a month to $5k in a month over the last 3 years.
