If the selected niche do not have enough audience, then you will not get any traffic. One of my friend started a blog on electric vehicle 10 years back, at that time there were hardly any audience on that niche. This resulted in low traffic and low earnings. If he had written the same article in year 2020 or 2021, he would have received a massive traffic.

No future of the selected niche

If the niche is underperforming there are chances that the niche will underperform in the future as well. Select a niche which has value and which can attract millions of users.

A good niche will not only give you traffic, the traffic which you will get will be a quality one. Quality traffic means, loyal users, users which will spend quality time on your blog. Quality users will also explore your site and other blogs and may click relevant ads displayed on your website, resulting in good earnings.

You do not have to invest money on SEO tools or an any advertising or marketing tools to generate traffic. Neither, you have to invest time on email marketing techniques and social media marketing.

You very well know what is your passion? For me sports and digital marketing are my passion and this is the reason why I write articles on Digital marketing and Sports as that is my interest. It becomes easier for me to write words on my passion as I know what will I write, from where will I get information, what are the learning’s and what are the drawbacks.

I do not have to copy the content from some other sites and I do not have to be dependent on others to generate content, I can generate unique content myself. If you are writing article on your passion, you can create at least one article every day. So on an average you can write at least 20 articles in a month.

There are many people in the blogging world who write article on low completion niche. While selecting a niche, always go for a low completion niche as there will be fewer competitors. Also, if you are going with a low completion niche, do check the future of such niche, the niche should have a potential to gather more users and traffic in the near future.

3. Niche should be Monteizable!

Do a detailed research and check the monetization of the niche which you have finalized. There are some unique niche which generates a good traffic but are very hard to monetize. The reason being, there are not many advertiser or publisher who would advertise in such niches, thus resulting in no ads.

If your monetization is not working, you will hardly earn. There are many such examples of bloggers who have a unique niche, good quality traffic, but still unable to monetize their blogs.

4. Use of Google Trends

Do a complete analysis of one year from Google Trends data and accordingly pick a niche.
